Poison Pure Silk had the honor of participating in the Italian Christmas Bazaar, the most important moment of fundraising for Il Circolo, a charity wich promotes Italian culture in the United Kingdom.
The Christmas Fair took place in the prestigious Chelsea Old Town Hall, London, December 9th and 10th and it was an incredibile opportunity for marketing and showcasing, together with other craftsmen and small producers.
The Fair’s theme was the Veneto region and its links to the UK. That’s why Poison Pure Silk, in addition to the Kimono Collection, chose to create a capsule collection named The Venice Collection ( coming soon online) : five skirts inspired by the five Shakespeare’s plays set in Veneto ( Romeo and Juliet, Othello, The Merchant of Venice, The Taming of the Shrew and The two Gentlemen of Verona) a garment with a simpe and refined silhouette made of a very special fabric by Rubelli Group. Rubelli, based in Venice, represents excellence in the field of fabrics.
For our Venice Collection we chose a Trevira lampas inspired by Katagami, a Japanese technique for designing and dyeing fabrics for Kimonos. Thus to underlining how carefully we select the raw material, maintaining our philosophy of cultural interconnections.
Keep following us to discover these five unique pieces!
AS SEEN IN TATLER – We are so delighted to have our gorgious “Magnolia” Kimono on the March Issue Advertorial “ Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guide 2020” of Tatler Magazine! The Kimono sold out a few days after the magazine’s release and we couldn’t be much happier about this amazing opportunity.
